Sending a Word at the New Year

At the start of the year, we put together a small gift for the families of the people who work here.

Behind each person growing with the company there is a parent who has been their root and their steadiest support. To say thank you for that, we sent a new year card and a box of traditional confections to our employees' parents.

The card carried one sentence: that we will help and support your son or daughter so that they become something you are proud of. The rest was a wish for health and happiness, written out by hand.

The confections that went with it are a traditional gift, shaped to stand for the four seasons and for good fortune. We chose them hoping that something small would still arrive as something carefully meant.

We intend to keep a culture that considers not only each person's work but the family behind it.
